Newport would like to share some quick information with you and give you all a little insight on some of the frequently asked questions we have encountered in our time role playing.
about us
Newport Beach was founded in 2007, and was recently re-opened for another round in 2014. It has been seven years since its last unveiling and term. We are proud to have it revamped and re-opened for your pleasure. Newport has come a long way in seven years, with new management and a brand new plot, we hope that you will enjoy it this time around as much as the last.
We offer a variety of boards to role play on, a large selection of in and out of character fun as well as friendly and helpful staff members.
The plot here at Newport is as follows:
The small town of Newport Beach, California appears to be like any other sleepy beach hideaway. The locals are friendly, the tourists can't get enough, and the whole town seems to be at the height of economic success with their new mayor. But underneath the picture perfect facade, the ones who appear the happiest and the most content are the most miserable of all: the teenagers.
The teenagers have their own ways of dealing with the stresses of high school, bullying and mental illness. Partying and getting into trouble are just a few of the ways these kids deal with their every day lives. Once a secret of Newport, Caulton Asylum seems to be the talk of the town these days. With more and more young people being admitted into this hellish place, the townies have nothing better to do than to spread gossip and speak dangerously about one another.faqs
Q. What is the year and location Newport is set?
A. Newport Beach is set in the year 2014 (present day) and is located in Newport Beach, California, USA.
Q. How does the time work at Newport Beach?
A. Time works as follows. For every month passed in real time, two months have passed at Newport. Simply, it is double real life time.
Q. If I choose to create a teacher or asylum therapist, do I have to hold classes/meetings?
A. This is not mandatory, but you may create classes or meetings if you wish. Students and patients do have the right to not attend these classes or meetings, so please PM the members that you would like to participate.
Q. How long am I able to reserve a face claim?
A. You have a full seven days to reserve a face claim. This is the same amount of time you have to complete your application. It's not fair to hog all the pretty faces.
