Newport High School is a public secondary school in Newport Beach, O.C, California. It serves students in grades 9–12 in the southern part of the southern O.C. School District, including the neighborhoods of Eastwick. It houses students from Newport and abroad alike. Here, students have the option in renting a dormitory or staying with their parents or loved ones.

Newport community college is home to the Port Palmers, a well-known track and field team. This college was established in 1921 to aid the community in supporting and educating the young members of society. Here, the teachers have the ability to give a more one on one relationship with the students, creating a larger percentage of success rate in the adult world. This does not detour the students from their usual parties, drama and illegal activities on campus.

Caulton Asylum was established in 1915 by Henry Braiv Caulton. It was built just on the outskirts of Newport Beach. This facility was first put in for the housing and the care of TB (tuberculosis) patients. Unfortunately, it was shut down temporarily in 1956 after allegations of torture and mistreatment of the patients surfaced. It was again re-opened in 1963 by different owners, doctors and staff. Soon, it was renamed Caulton Asylum & Psychiatric Facility. This establishment was home to thousands of patients, housed here for their multiple disorders. Mental illness is on the rise, and today, many of our youth are suffering from these diseases. Ages 12 - 25 are put here. When a patient is needing long term care, they are admitted to Caulton's sister facility, Preston's. All mental illnesses are welcome here, no one is turned away.

The locals here are an interesting people. They consist of individuals who have graduated high school, college or are drop outs as well as locals from other cities or countries. These people are not your average lot. They are a hard working class, from drug dealers to honest working laborers. All social classes are integrated into Newport, causing gossip, drama and scandals alike.
