HEMMY SAUNDERS

There isn't a time Hemmy remembers being out of the hospital. As far as she knows, she's always been.. broken, was what her mother said once after years of unsuccessful therapies. She was relocated to Caulton seven years ago and has since then been put under watch, more than being treated- slowly molded to be one who can fit into normal society instead. She is meant to cope, not be cured. The diagnosis? Haphephobia and alcohol addiction recovery. She's been sober for a while now but her intense fear and hatred of being touched seems to always come back full force after a babystep of progress is made. She refuses anyone near her- especially those larger in stature she immediately becomes fearful of. Naturally, she's withdrawn. Friendly and sometimes up for some polite conversation, but withdrawn. She's delicate-- almost made of glass in both physical and mental aspects; too much anxiety or fear and she breaks down, and a single touch from the wrong person can do the same.

FRIENDS

Having been in Caulton for 7 years, she's bound to have gotten an acquaintance or two, maybe an actual friend who respects her space and she speaks to somewhat often. She's harmless, really.

ENEMIES

Those who tire of her fragility-- maybe staff who don't want to put up with it or other patients who just don't like her. Anyone who seems threatening, she's afraid of.

LOVERS

This would be tricky, but is possible? I might make an ad later for this. Basically the person would need to be very, very patient. Obviously with Hemmy hating physical contact, the relationship would be mostly, if not purely, emotional.

AARON H. GAGE

24 | PANSEXUAL | Tier 1 NURSE | CAULTON ASYLUM

Gage, preferring to be called by his last name for a few reasons, has been working at Caulton for about a year now. His history isn't the most pristine nor luxurious, but he's a hard-working guy with an "always protect the weak" mentality-- part of the reason he chose to be in the medical field. A lot of his time is taken up by work but he definitely does enjoy going out and his professional manner is sometimes thrown out the window when he's out around Newport. He has a bit of a reputation but hasn't gotten into any kind of trouble for a long time. Overall, he's warm and usually jumping up to help out, always on the playful side, chatty.. but he doesn't tolerate any kind of injustice and like many people-- has a sharp temper that can quickly replace any kind nature when crossed.

FRIENDS

Bound to happen as the guy is very social. This can be citizens he meets out and about, hospital staff, or the occasional patient-- as he knows each has their things going on and he isn't one to judge what another has been through.

ENEMIES

Also bound to happen. Maybe a clash for a reason in the past, or no reason at all; some people just don't get along. He can't stand 'tough guys' and is quick to snap at anyone patronizing or otherwise being unkind to the patients at Caulton.. or anyone, really.

LOVERS

Gage isn't very focused on love at the moment-- things are just starting to level out and go somewhere so his main focus is work and continuing going to school. He'll flirt like hell, but don't expect it to go anywhere or for anything to happen. Commitments? Ehh.. Again, other focuses. It can happen but he'll be resistant atfirst as that kind of stuff is just a 'distraction'.
